More products or a store redesign?

Catalog size, migration work, product options, ordering rules, and integrations shape the scope. We review what you need and confirm a written quote. The Countryside project shows how a broader store can bring shopping and the in-person business together.

Know the ongoing costs.

The build price is separate from your Shopify subscription, paid themes or apps, domain renewals, and payment-processing fees. Your quote identifies the store’s ongoing costs and who manages each part.

Countryside: several ways to find the right fabric.
  1. Plan the store.

We start with what you sell, your products and photos, how you fulfill orders, and what your customers need to know. The catalog size, pages, integrations, price, and schedule are agreed before work begins.

  2. Write, design, and build.

I write the copy from your product and business details, organize the collections, and build the store for you to review. You approve the facts, wording, visual direction, and shopping paths.

  3. Check the shopping journey.

We check product options, quantities, cart behavior, mobile navigation, and the agreed checkout setup. You provide the business and payment-provider details needed to activate payments. Domain connection, account access, and handoff are part of the launch plan.

Are revisions included?

Every website build and redesign includes unlimited revisions within the agreed project scope before launch. You work directly with Alec to refine the design, wording, and layout. New pages, additional features, a change of project direction, and updates after launch are scoped separately.

How much does a Shopify store cost?

A focused Online Store is $1,000 for up to 10 products. It includes copywriting, Shopify theme setup, payment setup, basic shipping and tax settings, essential store pages, mobile optimization, and unlimited revisions within the agreed scope before launch. Larger catalogs, migrations, custom ordering rules, and additional integrations are quoted individually. We agree on the scope before work starts.

What ongoing costs should I expect?

Your Shopify subscription is separate from the website build. Paid themes, apps, domain renewals, and payment-processing fees may also apply. We identify the subscriptions and licenses your store needs in the quote, so you know what you will pay after launch. Optional Frontstage support is scoped separately.

Can you redesign or move an existing store?

Yes. I review the current catalog, content, URLs, theme, apps, and store settings before recommending the scope. Product migration, redirects, customer or order data, and integrations need their own plan. Existing stores and migrations receive a project-specific quote.

Who provides the product descriptions and photos?

I write the copy using the accurate product details you provide. You supply product facts, prices, options, inventory information, and photos or licensed imagery, then approve the final wording. Photography, branding, and larger catalog-entry work are confirmed separately.

Who owns and manages the store?

You own the finished store. We confirm Shopify account access, billing, domain responsibilities, theme and app licenses, and handoff before launch. Product, inventory, and order management happen in Shopify; any guidance or ongoing support you need is agreed with your scope.

Are shipping, taxes, and payments included?

The focused store includes payment setup and basic shipping and tax settings using the business information and rules you provide. Payment activation depends on the provider’s approval and your business verification. More complex shipping rules, tax requirements, subscriptions, or third-party systems are scoped separately.
