Countryside Village Gifts
A website with the warmth of a countryside shop.
Braidwood, Illinois
Live website
The project
Countryside Village Gifts brings gifts, home and garden finds, gourmet foods, and The Quilting Corner together in Braidwood. The Shopify website carries the feel of browsing the store into a clear path for planning a visit, shopping for fabric online, finding a class, or checking the outdoor markets.
Make a large, varied store feel welcoming online. Help visitors understand what is inside, find the part of Countryside that interests them, shop for fabric, and plan their next visit.

Inside the website
Make the website feel like walking into the shop.
Store photography gives gifts, home decor, seasonal displays, and gourmet foods their own place in the visit page.
The cream background, forest green details, and generous serif headings carry the warmth of the store into the website. Real displays do more to explain the experience than a generic product grid.
View the pageGive The Quilting Corner room of its own.
The fabric department has a dedicated introduction, with routes to quilting fabric, books, patterns, kits, notions, and classes.
A quilter arrives with different questions from someone browsing gifts. Keeping the department distinct helps both visitors find their way while preserving one Countryside identity.

The online store puts fabric photography alongside collection names, item numbers, and prices per half yard. Customers can browse by collection, search for a particular fabric, filter and sort the catalog, or save favorites to a wishlist.
Fabric shoppers may arrive with a collection name, a color in mind, or an exact item number. Giving them several ways into the catalog makes a large selection easier to explore, while cream backgrounds and forest green details keep the store connected to the rest of Countryside.

Product pages give the fabric room to be seen and keep the item details, price, quantity control, and add-to-cart action together. The ordering explanation makes clear that fabric is sold in half-yard units, with multiple units cut continuously when stock permits.
A quantity of two needs to mean something concrete when someone is buying fabric. Explaining the unit beside the shopping controls helps customers understand how much they are selecting before adding it to the cart.
View the pageConnect the store with its wider community.
The outdoor market page introduces local makers, growers, specialty foods, and food trucks, with a separate path for vendor applications.
Shopping, attending a market, and applying as a vendor are different tasks. Separate destinations let each visitor follow the right next step.
